The traditional Wassail Fest is back at the Gower Heritage Centre and the crowds have grown considerably, with people of all ages attending, a real family ocassion. Wonderful Marie Lywd horses heads on stage and in procession to the Apple Tree Orchards where cider is poured over the tree roots so that a bumper crop is grown for the harvest and new cider pressings are made in the ancient working cider press. Fiddlers, morris dancing, and a great time for all, with bands playing into the night.
